Question query to do MS in UK:

hi..........

i will take my ielts exams in june 2009.

Mainly I want details about conditions to get a part time job there. I mean are the jobs available there or i has to wait for 2 to 3 months to get a part time job

my colleagues, friends, and relatives said that its not better to go now. Because there are no part time jobs available now, they also said, I have to wait for about 3 months while studying to get a part time job after going there.

i want details about colleges in UK to study masters.

I had done my B.Tech - Electronics and communication Engineering and passed out in 2008. Now i have two back logs which would complete in month of april 2009. and my B.tech percentage is 53%.

So, If I get ielts score of 6 or 6.5 or 7.0 or more, What are the countries i can try. and what is the specialised course i can take. (please specify all the countries clearly. and also the courses)
im interested taking course realted to "Electronics and communication".

I don't mean to be rude or patronising but I think you may get better replies if you spell out what you're talking about:
MS can mean many things in English - the two that come most readily to me are Microsoft and Multiple Sclerosis. I guess from the rest of your post that neither of these is what you meant.
As for ielts????????????

What is "IELTS" ???

Why don't you check Universities's websites? All the information regarding academic requirements is normally there.

If you are following the news you should realize that right now may not be the best moment to attempt to emigrate, people are losing jobs here in the UK and elsewhere every day, so your chances to find one quickly are pretty slim.

I would also suggest to polish your English, it will help greatly when sending applications for both University and job openings.

IELTS is an test to prove that you can understand English. It's one of the standard requirements for emigration to Australia if you come from a non-English speaking country.

At the moment smslca isn't sure what country to move to since they are also asking the same question in the Aussie forum.

Regards,
Karen

I think that this is something that you need to research since you know exactly what you are looking for.

As jlms mentioned the university websites give details of their courses.

As with Australia you also need to check any visa requirements you need since they may restrict you on how much you can work.

Regards,
Karen

For the sake of others, MS is Masters of Science and IELTS is 'International English Language Testing System'. This test is used to test the English Language proficiency of candidates from Non-English speaking countries.

It will definitely take lot of time for you to find a part time job especially still in the current economic scenario. And also please note that the university fee will be much higher for non UK/EU candidates.

All the best in your next move.
