Smile Need Help On Hsmp

Hi Friends,
Right now I am in U.S.A. and I am going to apply for HSMP visa for that I need your valuable advice & suggestions.
1) I am getting exactly 75 points( Earnings-45 points & for my degree 30
points) (I know it's point based one), so pls let me know should i
have a chance to get approved.
2) How is the job market for SAP BW ( I have more than 7 years of
experiences),if i come there how long it will take to get into a project?
3) How long they will take the process time for this HSMP.

I am looking forward from you guys & I would really appreciate if any one help on this.

I wasn't sure what country you were applying to, but when I googled hsmp visa, I found UK references. So, I moved your thread here.

It would help considerably if posters would refrain from extensive 'Short phrasing ' we are not all into office terminology , save a lot of uneccessary web searching and leave more time for the nitty-gritty , i am afraid to admit i bye-pass most of these posts , partially because my grey matter is no longer able or willing to recall the meaning of 're +re Rwh + b/assy to exp nec rep !! and partially because i feel if you cannot spend the extra second or so to expidite your question , what value should i place on my time ? just asking Colin

Well, it's hard to judge sometimes. SAP is a company/product, and there is no way to spell it out. And sometime its hard to remember what things are, or that everyone doesn't know what, for instance, the IRS is.

Its a difficult job market time. Some projects will be put on hold and also over Xmas the recruitment is very slow. Too many managers out at Christmas parties. However if you havent started your HSMP process yet, it will be after Xmas by the time you get approved, arrive in england and the market is traditionally better around mid January/February.

Theres quite a good demand for SAP BW in UK, especially in permanent side. Even if you didnt qualify for HSMP employers would sponsor you for that as its a valuable skill. Look on Search for jobs in the USA. Online job search and JobStats - the current state of the UK computing job market for more information on the market.

Hope this helps,

Marcus
