Default Unmarried partner visa! Still no confirnation they have received paperwork?

We sent all of our documents and it arrived in Sydney on Thursday 30th august (tracked on australia post). We still have not heard anything at all to let us know they have received and are processing our application? We are applying from Australia (obviously!) so was just wondering of any other people going through the same thing and when/if they heard etc?

I'm not expecting the visa to be processed for a few monthes but would just be nice to know they have it!

Thanks guys! Hate this waiting game!

Hi there,

You don't receive any confirmation of your documents arriving in either Sydney or Manila.
If you wish to confirm they have been received, you could try the email address I used to confirm receipt: EC.Enquiries@fco.gov.uk

They were quiet quick in responding

Good luck!

Hi cazzyb2,

Unfortunately we still haven't heard anything! We just started our ninth week of waiting yesterday... I'm literally going insane so I hope it's not too much longer. The Australian processing statistics on the UKBA website for August indicated 100% of settlement visas were processed in 40 working days. Taking into account postage time etc. we hit 40 working days last Friday so I'm guessing the processing times have increased since August.

In any case, I just want to hear something so bad so that I can head back to my husband in London. It absolutely feels like the longest wait ever!

Hello fellas,

I'm new to this forum and have been reading pretty much all the threads related to UK settlement visa for a while.

I have got same situation with Cazzyb2 and wondering if you have heard anything back yet.

I just hit week8 last Friday. (documents arrived in Manila on 31 August )

Hope the waiting game get over soon.
