Default Work permit in UK for non-EU cityzen

Hello everyone, I'm glad to be a part of the community
this is my first post...

I'm 26 years old from Georgia, I'm married(with non-EU citizen) and really looking to find any way to move in EU especially I'm aiming for the UK because the only language I know (except my native language and Russian) is English
I also love English people (I met them when I was living in Cyprus for 5 years)
I'm a 3D artist and currently working as a freelancer, I have a quite good portfolio and more than 3 years work experience.
so I started to search for an available jobs in my field in UK and still no luck yet, although I had a few interviews by the phone...

now I'm a bit disappointed because I think in most cases the only reason for the refusal from the employers is my Non-EU citizenship and some of them even told me to get hired I should have work permit in EU countries

so I wonder, is there a big possibilities that I'm just wasting my time and will never be able to get a job offer in UK without having EU passport?
why there are such a strict rules for Non-EU citizens?

The UK has high unemployment and sadly, unless your field of expertise/qualifications are something that they UK cant find amongst those already there, then the chances are slim from what I can see. It costs money and is complicated to provide someone with a work visa , which I guess they simply dont need to do in the current economic climate

Thanks for your reply Jo.
so I guess it all depends on the employer/Company if they really want to hire you right?

maybe there are any other country in Europe that doesn't have such strict rules for non-EU citizens,
folks, I just want to live and work in EU, I don't like the way I live in my home country is there any way to legally immigrate in UK or any other EU country?

Most of Europe is in turmoil right now, so most countries are struggling and those who arent tend to be cautious and protective of their borders. I think the most successful country is probably Germany. Maybe some of the ex eastern bloc countries are easier to get into????

Even marriage these days doesnt guarantee that you would be accepted.

I've heard that Germany has an Aupair program but I guess it is only for students and definitely not for married people. I want to move with my family and build my new life in EU.
I'll still keep looking for available vacancies and maybe I can get a job offer, and I keep playing green card lottery, hope some day I'll win

thanks Jo I really appreciate your help
