Default F.L.R Help on savings

Hi
Partner is applying for F.L.R, i have opened a joint bank aacount and have around £1800 deposited, i have me benefits paid each week of around £280 a week as i'm disabled getting D.L.A etc, and i have around £900 in the bank, partner is getting a letter and parents, and their bank statements showing they will send $200 dollars, around £100 each month for the next 12 months, how much should we have in savings for the F.L.R, i have passed the £111.45 mark each week as i dont pay rent of council tax, so my bills and food for us both are around £100 leaving 180 a week left over, can you offer any advice if possiable on a right or wrong way and the savings amount?
Thank you

You should be fine from what I've read. I'm not employed or trained by the UKBA and there may be something else they're looking for, but we applicants can only go by what they post as the rules, and you do seem to meet those...

I think they like to see savings (who doesn't, lol!), but the important thing to the UKBA is that you have at least £111.45 per week left over after housing and council tax-which you do.
