Default VISA RECIEVED!! what now??

First of all, I would like to thank you all for the help you have given us. I was so nervous, my solicitor advised me that this visa would be rejected but it was accepted first time and that is why he was fired...anyway, thank you once again.

I just have a few questions regarding my husband's visa,

1 - Can he work straight away once entering the country or are there separate documents that come later to allow him to do that?

2 - What does "no recourse to public funds" mean? Obvious he isn't going to claim for benefits or anything but if there is an emergency or something can he not use the NHS? I just want to know because I don't want to do anything his visa will not allow him to do.

Any help would be grateful. Thanks

If he is in on a spouse visa he will be able to work right away and he will have health care. Congrats to the both of you!

Also meant to add that he will not be able to collect benefits. It's great that the visa was issued pre- July 9.

Tiamaria16, please forgive me for my post, sorry to hear of the troubles you have had, I don't know that the congrats were in order, I just had a chance to read your previous posts. I will say that for sure your husband will definitely have access to the NHS as well as employment. Hope all goes well for you.
