Default Spouse visa after 9th july

Hi guys I need some advice badly.i have been married to my husband for four years now and I want to move back to the uk.i am a British citizen and my two kids by desent. My husband is looking out for a job in the uk and if he gets an offer we want to apply for spouse visa and go.all this will probably be after 9th July. Can some body tell me what the process will be with the new rules in place.no point us moving without any job

Have you carefully read the new rules?

Also, there are a couple of lengthy threads discussing the new rules that might help too, look for threads titled along the lines of 'spouse visa changes'-there are more that a couple here right now, come to think of it! Good info, and good links.

Do your children have their UK passports? If not, that's your very first step because they won't be counted in the new financial rules, and that will be a help to any family trying to come home.

Under the new rules, you would be the sponsor, and you will need to be the one coming back to a firm job offer at an annual salary of £18600 (savings over £16000 can be used to offset the shortfall)-because your children are UKC, they will not be counted as sponsored children and therefore you only need to meet the £18600 figure.

That's for starters, best to read the page I linked, and then download and read the two Statements and other publications associated with the new rules. TIP-print to read, use a highlighter to make note of applicable paragraphs, make notes in the margins, and bring your questions to the forum.
