hello everyone... I didn't post on the forum before but reading through it I found some very useful information and wanted to thank everyone who contributes to it! me and my wife have finally made an application for her spouse settlement visa yesterday and everything went well until this morning, when she remembered that while giving documents to the Worldbridge people, both of us forgot to sign our statements, her letter of introduction and my invitation letter. We are quite stressed about it, and there is no one to call or try and get in touch with until Monday, and I don't think we can ring anyone even on Monday, as Worldbridge does not have a phone number one can call and the embassy states on their website they don't really give out any informaton about visas. It's just such a silly mistake to make after so many months of gathering all the documents together If anyone has any experience or any ideas about what to do, they'd be really appreciated!

do you think us not signing our statements will be a problem? pretty much all the other documents we hope should be OK... should we try to get in touch with anyone or just wait?

Don't worry about it. They aren't going to reject your application on the basis of missing signatures.

Thanks for this bit of information, Joppa.

The other day. Ed and I were wondering how to go about getting his letter of introduction signed. He isn't able to print his letter off and sign it and send it to me, and I am unwilling to forge his signature (I have several samples of how he signs his name), so I think we'll just end up typing out his name at the bottom of his letter and just send his off unsigned... my letter explains that he's blind, so it's not like we're deliberately not getting him to sign.

Thanks a lot for responding, guys, and trying to reassure us. We're both still quite worried, but not totally in despair as we were :S We're going to have wait to see what happens, we'll keep your posted on how things go...
