Default Benefit Gig in Hastings

Anyone who's anywhere near the southeast coast (or interested in visiting), I'd like to invite you to come to a benefit on 25th August, 8pm, at the Conquest Hospital Social Club on the Ridge in Hastings.

It's only £3/person or £5/couple, and all proceeds will benefit MacMillan Cancer Support and Hastings Rock Radio.

Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. They provide practical, medical, emotional and financial support and campaign for better cancer care.

Hastings Rock Radio is a not-for-profit station which promotes musical diversity and gives a boost to independent musicians who might otherwise never be brought into the public eye. Hastings Rock has been helping to raise funds for MacMillan since the early 1990's.

Appearing at Hastings Rock (almost) Unplugged will be Keith Foster, Stephen Cullis, and Adeline (of Hastings) and Jordana El, who is flying out from Cincinnatti, Ohio, U.S. special for the event.

If you don't live in this immediate area but are interested in attending, plan on a few days. In addition to this worthy event, the Southeast is beautiful, with amazing architecture that is literally breathtaking. If you learned about the Battle of Hastings in school, you'll enjoy visiting this historial area.

And let me know you're from the forum when you attend. I'd love to meet you!
