I have a UK spouse visa, expiry in January 2018.
What happens if I run out of space in my passport? I still have a couple of pages left, but it certainly won't last until 2022, which is when my passport expires.
I have heard of two options, but I don't know which is correct.
1) Get a new passport and travel with both, showing the visa in one and getting the other stamped (I know of someone with a US visa who did this, but don't know about UK visas).
2) Transfer visa to new passport (meaning get a BRP and pay £223).
I will apply for a second visa next year September (and my passport space will last until then for sure). Say I get a BRP at that time, is it linked to a specific passport, or can I get a new passport after?
Thanks
