We are seeking an experienced Social Media Specialist with at least 1-2yrs of experience managing client campaigns across various networks. This individual should well versed in social media, social book marking, blogging, and many social media properties.

An ideal candidate would be resourceful, enthusiastic, innovative and a quick learner with ample knowledge of the social media space. In addition, you'll be an active participant/contributor to our blogs, keeping abreast of the latest industry news, rules, techniques, etc...

Job Requirements:

- Solid understanding of social media and the digital media landscape

- Personal interest in involving web 2.0 online community services

- 2+ years of relevant work experience in various forms of Internet marketing (online advertising, SEO and community-based marketing and advertising)

- At least 2 years experience in the creation and execution of social media campaigns

- At least 2 years experience in extensive blogging

- Deep knowledge and experience with social media tools - MySpace, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr, social news sites, blog search engines and social media monitoring tools

- Basic understanding of social network application development platform (Facebook and OpenSocial)

- Understanding the relationship between search engine optimization and social media

- Understanding of social media in relation to the broader media mix and the interplay between online media and traditional media

- Strong knowledge of user-generated content, Web video and viral marketing on the Web

- Superior communication, organizational and project management skills

- Ability to work effectively and pro-actively within a team setting

- Outstanding research and analytics skills

- Ability and desire to act as a leader and mentor of other people

- Bachelor's Degree - Advertising/Media Studies/Journalism/Marketing or equivalent experience
