Hi could anyone please help us.We were in Australia last year on a 457 visa and like a pair of idiots we got homesick and gave everything up to return to the UK.We have been back in the UK now for 7 months and have been trying to get back since.Can anyone suggest a website that possibly indicates any employers willing to sponsor.We have tried every resource possible and as we dont have quite enough points for a permanent residence a sponsor seems our only option.We are going crazy over here and would appreciate any advice anyone could give us.For anyone out there who done the same as us can you let us know how you got back ? Maybe start with the Yellow Pages local business directory - yellow.com.au and make a few calls?

Suck it in and call the last place you worked for? They may not have a job but they may know someone ( its not who you know etc etc)

Hi Lisa123, like you it looks like my husband may have to go for sponsorship to work as a site manager in Oz. He is currently finishing his NVQ4 in Construction Site management and has about 3 years experience as so far on the job. I was wondering if you could give me some advice on what companies or agencies provide sponsorship. We would be looking to go in a years time or thereabouts so any info would be gratefully received !!!!!!
