work for a floor finisher

Hello, I'm new to this site and I'm looking for some information on the work situation for a floor finisher.
I have passed TRA , gained afq3 timberfloor, NVQ timberfloor (UK), I am also fully qualified Karndean installer.
We are looking at perth or melbourne for state sponsor visa to fast track application, just wondering if any one knows what the current work situation is like in these areas or knows any fitters, retailers, companies ect. Also any feedback on states, suburbs, and wage's would be great, thanks, Rikki.
