Default Help from Mumbai applicants

Hello,

As i have been reading post here & have found people saying that endorsing spouse name on passport is must to make your babies passport. how far is that true ?

As i have checked with agent, who does this work as routine have told me there is no need for spouse to have each other names endorsed on passport

Neither, passport website of mumbai says its complusory.

I wanted opinion of people who have made their baby passport with or without adding their spouse names.

Thanks.

Yes, we need to have atleast one of the passport endorsed with spouse name. I also had same question sometime back but checked with agents and also passport office customer support, they also mentioned it as mandatory to have atleast 1 should have their spouse name added in the passport to apply for baby's passport.

Thanks,
Sri

Anyone from Mumbai made their babies passport, where neither of the parent had their spouse name endorsed on each others passport.
