Hi guys
Due to illness our home is for sale.
Its a 4 bedroom chalet style at Wongulla on the River Murray just over 1 hour from Adelaide.
The town itself is mainly holiday and retirement homes, with some permanent residents.
We are 8k from a general/liquor store, 20 mins from Mannum with all facilities.
The house is on over 1/4acre with the adjoining block at $69000.
It has a bathroom with corner spa, double garage, sheds, pergola, balcony, fruit trees and natives.

We've had a wonderful time here raising our 4 kids and would love another family to enjoy it.
Just realised looking at other posts - there is no public transport (as is usual in most Aussie small towns), you would need a car

Good luck selling your house! I'm not in the market for a house, and I can't afford one. If I could, I would come look at yours.

You can see the photos on River Estates First National : - Mannum* | *Swan Reach* | *Walker Flat* | *Bowhill* | *Murray Bridge website. I am with an agent because Im a bit of a duffer with technology and dont know how to upload photos etc, and everyone expects it these days.
Just trying to get by in a techno world hohum!

We will be sorry to leave, love the area and the house etc but we've found a house near to a hospital which sadly is what we need at the moment.
But all will be well I just know it, its a bit exciting to think of moving after many years. To read about expats taking off around the globe makes me feel like a stick-in-the mud, I take my hat off to you!

My dogs are conspiring against the move! Had an open inspection on the weekend and cleaned the place within an inch of its life,20 minutes before the open they caught a rabbit and disembowelled it on the rug. They've never done that before. Aaargh!
