Accounting job in Melbourne/Sdyney

Dear All,

I am new migrant who currently residing in Perth. I would like to relocated to Melbourne or Sydney in few month time. I am ACCA member who have been works in Singapore as Accounts personnel for the past 10 years. Currently I am enrolling with Open University for Australian Taxation as well as Corporate law. I am going to be sitting the exam by year end. My question is what is my chance of landing a job in Melbourne/Sydney as I am lack of Australia experiences? I am prepared to settle with any Accounting job to gain exposure to local experiences. Thanks for sharing your experiences!

Hi Nelson,

Welcome to the forum.

The first thing I need to ask is what visa are you on? If you have a permanent visa then you can move and find a job once you're there, but if you are on a sponsored visa then it's a different matter.

Have you checked out the job links in the "PLEASE READ..." post? They will give you an idea of what's available in Melbourne/Sydney and what the requirements are.
