Come back from Australia after initial entry

Dear Friends,

Last week, i went to Australia for my initial entry. The duration of stay is hardly 9 hours in Sydney but i have seen Sydney Harbour, Opera Hall.

After activating my visa, i wrill try to go after 6-8 months for permanent resident in Australia.

However, i have little question about my spouse and baby visa. Unfortunately, they were not going with me and thus visa is expired now. If i bring my family on visit visa, is it possible for me to convert this visit visa into immigrant visa.
