Well guys and gals,
I arrived 7 weeks ago and yes it was chucking down with rain and yes it still is, U call this Australia LOL. My kids are coming next week Woohoo, hopefully the moron who is buying our house in the UK will just sign the damn contract and stop haggling over the price (we are now giving it away) and then him indoors can join us too. Was it worth the stress?? ask me again when we are all here!! OK1 Jacqui

hehe yes. Edo and I have commiserated often on life in the "Sunburnt Country" whilst watching the rain pour down outside our window...

welcome to Oz... I'm sure the drought is a conspiracy started by the Greens to generate conservation in the country. As far as I can tell, there's water aplenty LOL

well it's been raining here for the past 7 weeks on and off also, we've had big floods (difference: its summer here )

Are your kids excited?? what age are they, I have a 13YO and 11month old... where in Oz are you??

Where are you in Oz?

In SE South Australia is been raining too but I don't think it's been going for 7 weeks! This month it's just catching up with all the rain we missed in previous months.... However it is getting warmer here, the days are getting longer and the daffodils are out so we are heading in Spring! Summer will soon be here and then it'll be hot again!

We are in Melbourne Northern Suburbs, and yes its been raining here on and off since I arrived on July the first!! Off to lunch today with my boss!! Everyone here has been so kind, more so I think than they would be to a new settler in the UK. Counting the sleeps til my kids get here

oh the daffodils my favourite flower, if i play my cards right i could see them twice a year in two different hemispheres hehehehe
