Hi Fish7,

I moved your post to it's own thread so you'll get more replies (and your question was more about work than the cost of living ).

Firstly I have to ask have you got a visa sorted? You didn't mention that and without a correct visa you can't work - I know that may sound obvious but I thought I'd mention it. Two months sounds like a tourist visa rather than a work visa...

Regards,
Karen

Hi Fish7,

That's why I asked the question about your visa since I've never heard of a working visa for 2 months. There are tourist visas that I think can last up to 3 months but you can't work on those. There are working holiday visas and for those you need to be under 30 years of age.

There is a link to visa types in the "PLEASE READ...." post but when in doubt consult an agent. There are a couple of them that post on this forum - Alan Collett and Veronika (SOMV) or you have links to the MIA and MARA agent associations in the post I mentioned.

Regards,
Karen
