Default Australian Computer Society (ACS) updates as on 15th August 2011

Australian Computer Society (ACS) updates as on 15th August 2011

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The ACS skill assessment team is currently in the process of making changes and improving their turnaround times

Update No.1

Effective today, all applicants will receive their results as a PDF document via e-mail. Applicants are expected to recieve their results 7 to 10 days sooner this way. This will enable an applicant to submit the PDF document to DIAC sooner instead of waiting for the letter to come through via post.

Update No.2

A new updated PASA guidelines document is now available on the ACS website. The new document contains updated information and provides a better understanding of what ACS expects from applicants.

It's highly recommended that future applicants and/or their agents read this document before preparing and submitting skill assessment applications.

Update No.3

Another document called the "PASA Wizard Guide" is now available on the ACS website. This document is aimed at helping applicants choose the right type of skill assessment application depending on their qualifications, years of experience etc.

Update No.4

The application status page will now contain more detailed information about the different stages of the assessment process.

ACS will also be upgrading their website and introducing a new application form in the near future.

To avoid any confusion these updates are procedural. The assessment / eligibility criteria have not changed and remain the same.
