Default Compliance and risk assessment jobs

Hi

Hubby is currently a self employed Compliance consultant in financial services he has reams of experience and indeed is highly sought after here......he is more than happy to sit the equivalent exams but is there anyone else out there in the same boat? With any advice?

We were wondering whether it would be worth looking into sponsored employment for this tyoe of role?

Hi JessnDan,

Welcome to the forum.

Have you checked whether your husbands skills are on the demand list? There is a link through the "PLEASE READ...." post? If your husbands skills are not is demand it makes it less likely that he will be sponsored.

Have you checked whether you have enough points to come in on the skilled migration visa? Again there is a link in the "PLEASE READ...." post.

Regards,
Karen

Have you checked whether you can get in on a skilled independent visa? It takes longer but then you can live where you want and do any job that you want.

Sponsorship is not the only option, and there are also different types of sponsorship since people can be sponsored in regional areas (see the visa types for more info on those).

Regards,
Karen
