Hi there,

Have a look at what the DIAC requirements are for a sponsored visa Temporary Business (Long Stay) - Standard Business Sponsorship (Subclass 457)

hi dolly thanks for that link. i ony worked for the company for 3 weeks and i was able to do the work.but looking at the terms of sponsorship it says " as an employee you must meet the following requirements - have skills , qualifications ,experience and employment background which match those required for the postion". this is my stumbling block

Hi Steve,
i am sure you wont have too many problems getting sponsorship; you have skills requisite to your qualification, and from what i can garner, the company sponsoring you are to ensure appropriate employment!
Failing that, there a few websites looking for skilled workers, especially construction workers.

Good luck with your search!
Jane
