Question ACS - awaiting documents

Now we have had a mail from ACS, and they write this.

I refer to your application for Skills Assessment and wish to advise that before the processing of your application can be finalised, further documentation is required:
* Translated copy of the complete and final academic transcript for your Datametrics degree.
* Translated copy of the testamur for your Datametrics degree.

I can understand that they need some papers for the education, in English. But what is "the final academic transcript" and what is "copy of the testamur"

We can't translate it ourself I guess, so do we need to find a translater in Denmark, or what ?

We leave for vacation on Sunday for 2 weeks, so I guess we can't do anything before after the vacation

Hope to get some answers

Kind regards Mette

Transcript is a certified copy of a student's educational record containing titles of courses, the number of credits, and the final grades in each course.

Testamur is the degree certificate.

You should be able to get these from the university / college you got the degree from; I would also assume they can give you an official versions (with seals/stamps and all) straight in English if you ask them. Then just ship the ACS certified copies of these.

Of course, they should've been included in the original application..

Thanx for the answer. We already did sent the papers from the school, they are written in both Danish and English below, so that is a bit confusing. But I think my husband will call his school and ask them if they can do it on a "new" paper.
Crap, would have loved getting the answer while we were at vacation, and even though we got the translated paper today we couldn't sent it, because it has to be a certified copy.

Maybe you could also ask ACS as to what is it that they're looking for if those things were already sent in the original application.. I'm sure it's no use sending the same stuff twice.

Even if you can't get the papers today, have a good vacation anyway!
