Default RSMS Subclass 119 visa

Okay, a change of tactic!

I would like to seek some advice from anybody applying for a RSMS Subclass 119 visa. I understand that there is no Points Test for this, and from what I can discern, no Skills Assessment. Can anyone please confirm if this is correct?

My situation: my father may be able to offer me a job as a Systems Administrator with his company. Having read the regulations on the DIAC website, the vacancy has to be Full-Time and for a minimum of 2 years. I'm not sure yet whether the job will comply with this but I'll find out soon.

I was previously trying to get into Australia on a family-sponsored 176 GSM visa, but things weren't looking to good for me due to my lack of qualifications, and limited work experience.

So the 119 visa looks like a much better option for me. Does anybody here know how easy it is to achieve? Are there any hidden pitfalls that I should be aware of?

Again, I thank you all for your good advice.

Loz
