Hi Bella,

Welcome to the forum.

Have the agents told you what the hold up is? Is it just trying to find your husband a sponsor or something else? Sponsorship can take a long time depending on the profession.

Are the agents part of the migration association for MIA and/or MARA?
If you suspect that something is not being done right you can complain to them.

I would have a talk with another agent to see what can be done. I know that age is a factor in some visas.

Regards,
Karen

Find out what their MARA number is or do a search on the website at
Migration Agents Registration Authority.

There should also be details on the website about who to contact.

I would tell the agent that you're going to do this and see if you get any response then - I've found that some companies can become helpful when they know that you are serious about taking your complaint further

Good luck,
Karen

Hi there Bella,

I don't want to be a worry wort but if your husband obtained his skills assessment in October last year, I think that only lasts for a year.

I would DEFINITELY get in contact with at least 2 agents to see what they can do for you. We used George Lombard and he was absolutely fantastic. I'd also seriously think of making a formal complaint against your exisiting agent.

Dolly
