Default 175 - processing time - case officer

I lodged an online application for a 175 visa in June 2009. Today I finally got my first email letter from immi asking for medical/Xray and police checks. It also refered to the name of a case oficer. I have a few queries for which I hope someone can provide some guidence...
1) Does this mean I have now been allocated a case officer?
2) What is the expected processing time after I send the documents for the Visa to be granted?
3) I got chest xrays completed for a stint I did in Australia under a 457 Visa back in 2008 (before this application) - would these be still valid or do I need to get new Xrays?
4) Because i lived in Australia for a 12 month period in the last 10 years, I understand I need an AFP check. The form has a fingerprint check too but says sometimes this is not required. Do I need the fingerprint check?
Any guidence would be most useful
Thanks

first I assume that ur from Low Risk country

1)Yes
2)Max it can be 6 months..but givent he current scenario it could be very fast (1-2 months max...my guess)
3)not sure (does it has expiry date)...but try to play safe n get it done now (as CO might ask for recent ones wasting ur precoius time)
4) not sure abt this...let other respond..
