Angry help please

Hi all,
Please help me with a queer problem i have with an internet account.

I had an email account with AOL,was a paid one until this january. When we moved out of uk i cancelled their internet services and made sure we could continue to use the free mail account.Which was fine from Jan end to 2 days ago. When we could not get access our account. When we try password retrieval also, the sign name does not exist. We tried creating an account with the same sign name but it says it has already been taken.

I would be grateful for your input. All our moving files, various correspondence related to our Aussie move is all there and i am very worried and losing sleep.I could not contact anyone in UK.Indian AOL says cant help we will try.
please tell me if this can be fixed?
what else can i do?we seem to be lost and it also feels very scary!!
Thanks a lot

Hi mden,

I have no idea about AOL since I've never used them. I would keep asking AOL until someone gives you some answers. If someone can't help ask to speak to their manager and go up the chain.

If you are in the middle of a move to Oz contact the case officer you are dealing with or the immigration dept and explain the situation and see if you can give them another email address so things don't get delayed.

That's all I can think of but maybe some of the other members will have other ideas....

Regards,
Karen

ugh sounds like a nightmare. I have never used AOL so all of my emails are on web-based clients which are easier to access from anywhere. I'm sorry to hear of your plight. I would just hound AOL until you get what you want.
