Hi all,

We're totally over the moon at the moment. We've done our visa on-line and got confirmation last week wednesday that we need to get medicals and police clearance done and sent to them. I have to admit that doing all the paperwork upfront before applying for the visa has saved us a lot of heartache and stress!!

Generally the whole process takes so long that if you can save yourself some time then do it.

congrats catz, can i pick your brains on a few things, i'm hopefully applying for my visa this week, i've collected all the documents that i need to attach to the application, do these need to be certified as correct? how long before your confirmation came through? i'm so scared that i'm going to get it all wrong any advise would really grateful, i have no fingers nails left

Hi jam,

You need to make sure that everything is certified except if you've got originals (colour). We found that they've got a limit as to the size of the file so colour was actually to big. That's why we decided to get everything certified and scanned in. Are you doing yours on-line?

i've just made an appt to have have every certified and then hopefully i can send off the application, yes i'm applying on line, i'm just worried to death that i'm going to do something wrong. we've just received our police checks so it's just the medicals left now.

Hi jam,

Don't forget to make copies of the certified copies. I know it sounds stupid, but you're going to need!!!
