Exclamation Altona north

Hello,

we are moving to melbourne in 2011 and we are currently looking at our living options. we initially want to rent and we hoped to find somewhere for a 1 month/2 month period if we could. we have looked at holiday lets but they are very expensive, does sanyone know anything about this?

We also need some innfo on areas because we have no idea! we have seen nice new builds at cooks point but someone sai dthere was a sewage plant near by? whats altona like, property seems cheap there compared to melbourne suburbs, is it just a case of the further out the cheaper it is?

can anyone please help?
