Default ACS Assessment

Hi,

Can anyone help me in explaining my status. Last week was "Inprogress" and now it shows "Written off" without any updates in (Managed By or Registered Post No) column and it is empty. As I'm new to this forum any explanation would highly be appreciated.

Sooner or later.. everyone's status changes to written off. I mean after registered post number. Ours changed to written off after a month we received our result in mail.

I don't see any point of worry for you. Just wait for ur result.

Hi,
I also received + Assessment. Problem is in IELTS I am not getting 7 in writing section where I only managed to get 6. I got 7 in listening, 8 in reading and 7 in speaking.

I don't have clue how to write and improve to Band 7 in writing.

HI,

This is my second attempt and waiting with fingers crossed, we are sailing on the same boat. My previous attempt score was R:7 L: 7.5 W : 5.5 S : 6.5. Try to use ielts-blog and their writing correction services. Its not that expensive, but, worth paying and moreover PRACTICE a lot. Good luck.

getting an 8 in reading and 7 in others ensures you are competent enough ... to score 7 in writing too

Spelling Mistakes, Punctuation, Paraphrasing and more writing tests are some thing that you may have been lacking....
A whole 1 point is only for completing the essay and letter appropriately..
i-e closing para must be there...
a whole 1 point is for 140~160 words for letters and 240~250 for essay...
if the words are short your points will be short
1 point is for originality of your substance i-e make sure what ever you write doesnt give impression that it was learnt by heart

write a letter and an essay regularly for a week before the test and check it for errors yourself ,
hope fully you will easily make 7

Hi,

I followed the below strategy to get above 7 in writing.

1. Read the question.
2. Write down all the vocabulary that you can think of related to the topic somewhere.
3. When you write the essay, construct a couple of sentences using these listed out words.
4. End the essay with a summary.. like "To summarize, blah blah blah..."

I was finding it hard to get more than 7 in writing. In my third attempt I followed this approach.. I could score 7.5

Hope it helps.

Cheers~~
