No way!! that's so awesome Where did you find out this tid-bit of information??? Where's it going to be?

My favourite store in the US was World Market (which is a Costco brand with lots of cool stuff from all over the place).

Good stuff

Hi Tiff,

It was in the MX news that hubby snaffoos every evening on the train!

It's going to be sited "under the shadow of the giant Southern Star ferris wheel". It's to be the centrepiece of the State Government's Waterfront City redevelopment plan. It will operate 7 days a week with construction due to be finished at the end of next year.

Bring it on!

Decent pizza at last LOL (IKEA has it's meatballs, Costco has it's pizza!!).

Also, none of this namby pamby sized stuff anymore.....spices by the kilo etc etc, great jewellery (diamonds!!), oh deepest joy!

I know right? I was just wondering a few weeks ago why Australia didn't have any of the warehouse stores. It's just myself and my partner at the house, but things like toilet paper and laundry detergent aren't going to go bad. Plus they have good deals on other stuff as well like furniture and household small appliances. woo hoo!!!! Very exciting stuff

ah dangit. I just found out that World Market is part of Cost PLUS, not Costco. But anyway I'm still excited about it because it could start a price war... and the prices at Safeway and Coles can border on ridiculous.

Jane, Adelaide is a long way to go to stock up on loo roll and tomato sauce! LOL But apparently the chain is opening up about 13 stores in the next couple years, and I think Adelaide was on the list. Melbourne will simply be the first of many.

Shush, Tiff; my evil plan for a holiday across Oz will be lost

If they know that they will get pizza and poppycock at the end of a mammoth road trip; i am safe; expansion is not going to deprive me of a holiday!!! YUKYUKYUKH!
Joy unconfined, though about Adelaide getting a store
