Hello, I was wonddering whats the opportunities in teaching jobs, esp in Sydney. are teachers in shortage or no. As my wife is in teaching and we wondering if she will have easy job hunting in sydney.

As far as I know, Australia treats teaching with the utmost seriousness. You require specialized education/certification in order to take up teaching or immigrate as a teacher. Checkout the assessing authority for the teaching profession to ascertain if your wife would be eligible. I can't comment on availability of jobs though - a job search on the net should turn up something.
