Default Question for the ex pat ladies

It has been years since my last visit to Australia, but my skin dries out very quickly. Although I plan to wear a hat and sunscreen at all times, I was wondering....Do you find Australia has a dry heat? How do you keep your skin from drying out and what products suit you best?

In Melbourne there's definitely dry heat, so yes!!!! But in the tropical north it may be a different story. Depends where you want to live probably.

I also have very dry skin anyway, but I just use a good lotion and make sure I wear plenty of sunscreen in the summer (I'm also pasty pale; like post-mortem pale LOL)

In SE South Australia it's a dry heat too. I'm still using the creams I bought when I moved out from the UK last year so I've still got a while before I have to investigate the creams here.

We tan easily but we still make sure that we use sunscreen & hats in the summer.

Regards,
Karen
