I need some advice... I submitted my ACS online application on 27th Jan 2011 and sent my certified documents package by registered post on 29th Jan 2011. It's been 3 weeks now and ACS site still does not show updated status to documents received ...

There is no way by which this can be tracked - for say this is how the govt. postal services in India are.

It's been 3 weeks now and I am now confused what shall I do?

Ghosh... the moment I posted this message - the very next moment I received an email from CO... but there is a problem, she has asked for further document. I had sent a self-declaration of my job details, but she wants a reference from a senior colleague as well. She wrote -

27. I cannot provide a reference from my employer. Will you accept anything else?

If you are unable to obtain a Reference from your employer you should submit a reference from your colleague who occupies or has occupied a higher position than you and is an expert in the area closely related to your nominated occupation, within the organisation you were employed at, on a properly signed and witnessed Statutory Declaration.

What should I do in this case? It is difficult to declare this to supervisor and ask for this reference letter.

Please advice.

Any one from Pakistan.....
a humble advice....never ever use Pak Post for any immigration related post to save a thousand rupees by max.....
Time worths more than that.... Use TCS..or OCS or Fedex ...get your docs timely delivered and besides you get a good and accurate tracking as well...documents are delivered in 3~4 days whereas pak post sucks badly....

you would never ever be able to get an accurate status....
theres a long stupid procedure of tracking that involves writing a handwritten application plus copy of NIC.... they are just hara* kho* doing no work at all..
and the delay would be like 1 month for documents
