Default can anyone help?

I moved to oz this week on a skilled designated area visa, but as the application took so long, by the time they took to grant it I was back in a relationship with an ex. The question now is how can I get him across here as he was not on my visa, he is 48 and so too old to apply for a work visa of his own. Any ideas, I may have to return to the UK if we cant sort it??????

Have you spoken to your migration guys, they may be able to help, at least it's worth a try.
Good Luck

Yep, I agree. Have a word with an agent.

Let us know how you get on

Jen,
seriously, see a migration agent. There is stuff in the "please read" posts by Dolly and Karen; it might give you a starting point.
The DIAC website is useful too,i read it regularly, just in case.

Wishing you well, both in the relationship and the issue at hand

The first consultations with an agent are usually free and they will come up with some ideas on how to get your partner across too.

Good luck,
Karen
