Hi guys,

Hope everyone has a lovely day today!! I certainly do, we received our ACS as confirmed and now we're applying for our visa. I wanted to find out if we're suppose to attach all the docs we send for ACS to the visa as well and did anyone fill their visa's in online? Is it easier online or should we just rather post it?

Thanks
Catz

Hi,

ACS stands for Australian Computer Society and if you're in the IT industry you have to have your documentation accredited through them.

Thanks Catz. That what my husband is doing at the moment but he calls it something else. Can I ask how long did it take you to complete, it seems to be taking him a long time as he says it has to be so detailed. I see you are from South Africa, I'm from Zimbabwe and have been living in SYdney for 4 years now. When you get here you won't be able to say SA when talking to the Aussie's as they will mistake it for South Australia

Hi Catz,

I got my certificate from ACS and then applied online for my visa (175). You need to send all the same documents that you sent to ACS as well as a certified copy of their letter.

Since I applied for the 175 visa I also needed to send additional information that ACS did not require. For example, Detailed Duty Statement, Detailed Reference, Contract, Payslips, Taxation Documents and Banking Documents. I have worked for two different companies so I needed these details for both companies. I sent documents right after I applied online.

Hope this helps.
Pam
