questions about setting up a bank account

We are currently reside in the US, but we have moved constantly around the states and we have experienced the headache of having different bank accounts in different states.
My questions, are we able to open up an IRA with any bank in Aussie or are there requierements? Is there any way I can search for information about certain banks that I could contact, therefore you do not have to be bothering you with all these questions..

That is very considerate of you, thank you again. I have read your previous post and that will be useful. I have loved reading all the threads and it gives me a bigger picture to look at when moving to Aussie. I have read all of your threads. It is a lot of information to gather.
