Default ASCO-ANZSCO transformation

Hi All,

I received my skills and qualifications assessed as SUITABLE under ASCO code 2231-79 (C, C++, and C# Specialist) in May XX, 2010, that letter was issued on April XX, 2010.

Can you please shed some light on my case that do I need ASCO-ANZSCO transformation for future immigration correspondence or already availed 2231-79 (C, C++, and C# Specialist) ASCO code will be enough for the State Sponsorships after finalization of State Migration Plans and DIAC application?

I am very confused about the re-assessment of my skills, my consultant is advising me that 2231-79 (C, C++, and C# Specialist) will works fine for me through-out my migration process because I have a letter that bears date before the transformation period. It is giving me a feeling to start everything from the SCRATCH; apply ACS assessment again with full fee and then state sponsorships again to lodge my application with DIAC; currently I have only ACS approval letter with ASCO code and IELTS result sheet, waiting for the state sponsorship result and not yet applied for the DIAC.

Your valuable input will help me to make my decision or set the direction.

Thanks for the prompt reply, have you confirmed it from any authority/web-site to start it from the scratch or just did it with your own will?

My friends have applied for re-assessment.
Also visit ACS site for detail, you have to do re-assessment (free) if u are eligible otherwise paid assessment.

I emailed Helen and tried to argue why I should not pay again and why i should have been given ANZSCO...but all she said is that I have to apply again a fresh...so I was not going to win by asking for a free re-assessment
