Default Are ASCO 2231-79 (Java / J2EE Specialist) eligible for Australian Immigration

On March 3, 2010, ACS assessed me as an ASCO-2231-79 Computing Professional
(Java and J2EE Specialist) which is valid for one year. I intend to apply for Australian general skilled immigration.

In post-July 1, 2010 scenario, I am really confused about what should I go for and how could I proceed further with Australian Immigration.

Kindly help me in this context.

Best regards,

Mirza Muhammad Adnan

You can either apply for the new ANZSCO code to lodge 175 or wait until SMPs are released to lodge 176. Since you are a Java and J2EE specialist, I think you can apply for Software Engineer in the new ANZSCO code which will qualify you for the 175 visa.
