Thank you Scottishcelts!! I am sure I will have a million and one questions going forward.
We applied for ACS back in end of Feb. A few days ago my husband got email notification that the results letter has been mailed (Registered). I have no idea how long it will take to get to our mailbox - as you can imagine, I anxiously await for the mailman to come everyday So, any day now hopefully it will arrive. Did you take the IELTS? Can it be taken after the application is submitted? Thanks again for your support! Raj |

We did not take the IELTS test as we are natural English speakers and had ehough points without it, i understand the IELTS test can add 10 points to your visa which is fair enough but if you don't need to take the test or need an extra 10 points don't put yourself through the stress, the whole process is bad enough without adding to it. Hope this helps. ![]() |

Hi Scottishcelts,
That's great news! When are you planning the move? We just got the assessment back a couple of days ago...just need to get this application going now.... Just wondering, did you get notified via email that your visa has been granted or did you get it by post? This is such a big move, it can be a bit overwhelming I'm sure....I sometimes get a little nervous myself...but then the excitement takes over ![]() Thanks, Raj |

You are notified via e-mail on your visa grant succession and it is wonderful! However if you are unsuccessful they notify you by letter, which is nice. ![]() |
