Question Sponsored Visa

Hi

Currently I am in Banglore India , And Have 7 years of Hardcore experiance in Application Programming/Designing/Team Leading/Management.For the last 1 year I was in USA on L1 Visa , now I am back again.before going to USA , I did applied for the Australian immigration through a local agency but , I was
betrayed and cheated , till the time I could take any action I was send to US by my company.

Now I am back again , and plaining to file my case for the immigration but only through australian agency , I will really appreciate if you can resolve my following queries

i).Is it safe to file for a skilled immigration thru website
ii).Is there any other way to contact Australian Employeer apart from posting CV(I have been doing this since 1 Month)
iii).Is there any way I can be exempted from IELTS(since I have fair exposure of English e.g stay in US)
iv).If there is any chance of me getting sponsered then how long the process of immigration will take place
v).Is there any points to Marital status
vi)on one of the website the evalution for me is 120 and on the other is 110 , I am really confused

Thanks

Hi Siddharch,

Welcome to the forum.

I moved your post to it's own thread so people can see it more easily.

Yes lots of people file online, however we went through an agent (in the UK since that's where we found the agent)

There is a reverse website if you check out Liana Allan's posts.

Not that I know of but you may want to check this with a migration agent. There are two agents on the forum Alan Collett and Liana Allan. As far as I know IELTS is based on where you are from but they wouldbe able to confirm that.

If your skill set is in demand then you may be sponsored. As you've seen from other posts it's not always that easy.

I don't think so although your spouse can add some points to your application under some circumstances. Please see the links in the "Please read...." post.

The definitive test has links in the "Please read...." post. That is on the Australian government website and as you realise those 10 points can ake the world of difference between getting in or not.

Regards,
Karen

Hi Siddarch
I am from India, Delhi.
I too am looking forward to moving to OZ, dunno how long would it take. Firstly, i am going thru a migration agent who is in Perth but is form india, its best that you go thru an agent since it keeps lot of headaches off. Some things are best when done with professional help. if you want i can give you teh agent's name.
Secondly, U can skip IELTS exam if you prove 5 years of continuous english study during your schooling/college. for that you wil have to get a letter form the school/college stating that your studies were english based. This is have heard from someone, i dont know how well it works.
Third, You do get points for your spouse, english language ability, work experience etc do add on to your points.
Fourth, Whenever you look for any job on the jobsites, the employers always prefer those who have a work permit. I dont think getting sponsorship is very easy.
Fifth, It is best to get a certification(in your case it would be ACS-Australian Computer society) and thn apply for the visa for permanent residency(PR). This entire process takes close to one and half year if things go smooth.

Hope this helps
Anj
