Hi All

I sent my passports to Australian consulate in Dubai for 176 visa evidencing last week. Does anybody have an idea about the usual processing time they take to stamp the visa ?

Yes, you can get your passport stamped in Dubai. You need to book an appointment with the Consulate (through VFS) and then turn up at your appointed time. They will do it right there and then - I think I waited about 5-10 minutes and it was all done.

It takes no more than 5 minutes to get the label printed and stuck in your passport. However, in your case, you need to factor in the time taken for them to receive and send back your passport. Also, the Australian Consulate only provide visa evidencing service on certain days of the week, so that again can result in some delays.

If you sent your passport through VFS, then they will be able to advise you.

It usually takes 7-10 working days to get the passport back
