Default Agents details anyone?

Hi guys

Ive done a bit of research on Brisbane now and I like it ! But I am also thinking of Perth, soooo....... Ive decided that I need an agent because I will be surfing the net until the cows come home and keep changing my mind.

If anyone has details of a good agent that they used can you please send them onto me?

Thanks

Suzanne

Hi Suzanne,

We used George Lombard and he was fantastic. We wouldn't be here now if it weren't for him. There are also 2 agents that roam the board occasionally. Go Matilda have a good reputation (Alan Collett posts on here) - we used both.

George: Welcome to Austimmigration | George Lombard Consultancy Pty. Ltd.
Alan: Go Matilda - Your Gateway to Australia - Visa, Tax, and Financial Planning for Australia

When looking for an agent, always make sure they are registed on MARA : Migration Agents Registration Authority

Hi Dolly, i am currently located in Singapore and my questions:

1) can an agent located in Australia help me?
2) if yes, how much is the rough cost?

Hi,

Our agents were in Australia and we were residing in the UK at the time. TBH as long as they are contactable, it doesn't really matter which part of the hemisphere the agent is!

Costs vary from agent to agent. And it will depend on if you use an agent for both the skills assessment and main visa application. For both, I can't remember how much we paid but I think it was around £3K (including all fees).

Hi there,

Can i just say, there is a difference between a migration agent and a relocation agent. Migration agents tend to offer advice on visa's only, relocation agents are something different, they organise the move. i specialise in the relocating side which is actually just as important, if not more than the visa side. When we emmigrated, i wont tell you who we spoke to but as soon as they had our visas and had our money, we were on our own after that!
i have a migration agent whom i work with if anyone needs that advice and she is registered with the MARA Migration Agents Registration Authority.
So guys, just be aware?

Meg

if you could afford it go on a holiday to both before you decide on were to relocate to then when you know you can use an agent to help you get there not sure if its a agent for the Visa you want or an relocation agent but
Go Matilda Allan collett is excellent as well he is in Australia but is very efficient and get the job done but for a relocation agent check out Michelle she will be able to help. when you don't have any one its good to have some one who can help advise you only for we have friends who are brill in Australia Ild prob have used one

Good luck
