Question advice needed please

Hello, think I posted my first thread in the wrong place...!
New at this,
Hubby qualifies for Business Visa requirements but might look into sponsorship as his supplier has branch in Oz....

Most important questions for today: Son of 24yrs old works in our business. Has IT experience. Does he HAVE to apply on his own behalf for Visa or is there no loophole which allows the family to emigrate as a whole seeing as it will be far more lucrative to start a business with the people already in place?

Son-in-law also works in our business - one of a few employees that does all electrical/installation of machinery etc but has no formal qualifications so would probably have to get his electrical certificate prior to application?
Same question as above - does he have to apply for a visa himself/for my daughter as well (they are married).

Have appt with Migration people coming over from Oz in April (seminar and one-on-one interview). Looking at their proposed costs - if we use their services it is going to cost around R70,000. Is this the average fee or does anyone know of a reputable agent in the Durban area that charges considerably less?

I think based on a reply from Alan Collett (a migration agent) on this forum yesterday, he would have to apply in his own right since he's not a dependent. However I don't know much about the business visa since we went for the skilled independent one.

You'll need to check this since for emigration purposes the authorities often want to see experience after qualification.

Yes I think your son-in-law and daughter would have to apply on a separate visa from yours. This is worth checking with an agent - we have Alan Collett and Liana Allan on the forum who are both agents.

I don't know any agents in South Africa at all - sorry. I know one is the UK and the two on this forum.

Regards,
Karen
