Thinking of moving to Australia...

Hi everybody,

I'm French but I ask my questions here because only Brtish people have the best websites for those who want to go to Australia. ^^
I discovered this website a few days ago and it is seems very useful.
Well, I would like to have more information about jobs in australia.
I have been a qualified bricklayer for many years but I'm fed up with my life here and my wife and I are thiniking of moving to Australia.
In Australia, as I read it in newspaper, there is a shortage of tradesmen. So, I would like to know if I would be able to find a job of Bricklayer Supervisor ( with my years of exp) ? Does anybody know what are the wages for this job ?
When I was looking for jobs on Seek, or other, I found jobs in Townsville. Is it possible to find work there. It seems to be a pretty and nice town too !
Thank you for your answers, and I hope that my mistakes aren't too numerous. I definitively can't get rid of that.

If you search through the threads you'll find that there are several bricklayers moving to Australia from the UK and their posts may be able to help you.

I assume that you've been through the sticky posts at the top of the forum already....
