Hi guys,

Finally all our paperwork is finished!! We're sending our 'stuff' to ACS tomorrow and then it's wait and see!

I know what it's like - exciting but terrifying at the same time.

Do you know how long the ACS are taking to approve applications at the moment? Hope it's not too long. I think we waited about 6 weeks to hear our results (but that was 2 years ago).

Thanks!! The agents said about 2 months, I'm hoping that it would be earlier though. We need to get the process going as soon as we can, because we're applying for the 175 permanant visa.

That was probably worse case scenario. Have you started on getting your main application ready?

Yes, we did. There is so much paperwork lying around my house at the moment, and I'm too scared to clean up in case we need something!!! I've started a file where I'm putting all the papers into (just in case someone wants to clean up)!!

Ah, I remember those days well! I was a nervous wreck most of the time...

The worst part was not so much getting all the relevant documents together etc but all the waiting that goes with each stage. Waiting for skills assessment results, waiting for police checks to come back, waiting to get a CO (I can go on...an on....). But, it IS all worth it. You'll look back and wonder what all the fuss was about.
