Hey mark,
welcome to the forum! i'm sure that you will find everything you need to know on here, its served us well so far.
we are off to brisbane and have just started the visa aplication and we have decided to use an agency as they seem to be best option in our opinion and can help you on the way but i'm sure that everyone is different.
Good Luck with everything!

Hi Mark,

I know that without an agent we wouldn't have got in, whereas others on this forum have done it themselves. It really is a personal choice.

You're right agents aren't cheap but in my opinion a good agent is worth every penny (especially considering what the weather is like back in the UK ).

Regards,
Karen

Hi Mark,

We did use an agent to help us with our skills assessment and visa application. It is quite a bit of money but we felt it was every penny well spent. I'm positive that if we'd not received professional help we wouldn't be here in Australia today.

You could use an agent for the skills assessment part and then do the main application yourself.

Lots to think about!

Dolly

thanks for the advice
, i think kaz hit the nail on the head i would pay alot more than the agents fees to escape this weather , easter was raining snowing sleet and strong winds think i would sell a kidney to get out of here

so i will send me cheque of to go matilda and see what happens next , one thing i did notice is my wifes trade hairdresser is on the wanted list of trades and this gets updated in july , do they change this list about much

many thanks mark
