What do points make?? Sponsorship???

Hello to Everyone! I am seeking information but can't seem to get a yes or no answer so wondered if there was anyone that could help reading this. I am looking at all my options to migrate to Australia ideally Brisbane. I do not have enough points to come over - my previous occupation, which I am fully qualified for, is on the skilled list but I have been employed doing something else for the past 4 years - which isnt recognised.

I have considered a student visa but this is such an expensive way and I would be putting everything on the line!

I have also been in contact with a recruitment company in Aus to see if they have an employer that would be willing to sponsor me.

What I need to know is in the latter is this possible even though I am not currently on the skilled list if I was to work for them on the skilled list could I get a working visa? Hope this makes sense!

I really really want to move and if anyone has any other ideas please let me know! Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

Of course point makes prizes The prize being getting into Australia.

If you are in the UK there are expos you can visit to get some information, or try some migration agents since their first consultation is usually free.

I don't know a great deal about sponsorship but Liana Allan mentioned a website where they reverse engineer the jobs if you do a search for her post.

By the way most of us put everything on the line when we come out here

Also, have you had your situation professionally assessed? It might be worth your while just to double-check using the legislation and see if your agent can find a loophole.
It is amazing how many loopholes we have found for our clients in the past.
