Default ACS Timeframes?

Hey guys

Greetings to all !!

I started my ACS online app and got the user/pass on Jan 1, 2010.

Completed online app, paid via credit card on Jan 25, 2010. Got a link to check the app status.

Documents reached ACS thru courier on Jan 25, 2010.

Till now I have not received any confirmation of the receipt of the attested docs.

The online status shows "To be allocated" with the "Managed By" field empty.

Could somebody suggest if I should contact them regarding the receipt of the documents or wait a while?

Thanks in anticipation
tmkcmkkl

i suggest waiting a while, you can call them if you really want to but if you check the courier company you sent it through..what do they say? if it has been delivered, it is with them, soon the managed by will have a name and in no time the case will be final

Thanks Anj

The courier company status shows delivered, received and signed.

Assuming the shipment has been delivered to ACS, how much time does it take for them to assign the case to somebody or updating the status?

If the status is not updated, how many more days should I wait before contacting ACS, since they discourage this practice unless its urgent?
