Job verification before CO or after CO

Hi all,

Today I have send my application to Aus, so I would like to know uptill when I will get the job verification call or visit, is it before the allocation of CO or after, I heard it is done before.

Any comment plz.

it's before the CO, but in some cases they do it after.

Case Officer is the person who examins your file and decides Verification or not.
If he decided to do verification the file will be send to verification department.

In my case Verification came after Medical request

Applied Visa 175 April 2008 (Paper visa MODL, CSL ,)
Got CO and Medicals July 2009
MEDICALS and PCC finalized July 30th 2009
Job Verification November 10th 2009
175 VISA GRANDED 22nd December 2009

yes technically speaking...first CO officer will be assigned & then he will start examining your case...also there are cases where No job verification as well...there was no Job verification for me..Good Luck

None for me either. I emailed them all the relevant docs proving employment, e.g. social security statements, payslips, tax returns and bank statements.

If the CO is happy with that spam might even move the application faster somehow, as in none of the overhead with job verification applies anymore.

I see that you are from Pakistan. I dont think there would be a physical visit. As for job verification its not necessary that there would be one. In some cases there's a call and in some cases there's not. It all depends on how is it important to your overall application.

Also depends on what occupation are you applying the visa? In my case its Accountant. And I have 130 points without even considering work experience. For I.T people work experience is a very big requirement. For some its not.
